A Mesmerizing Fusion of Cultures and Sounds
Qairo blends Flamenco, Turkish music, and Arabic and Balkan influences into a unique, electrifying performance. With five multicultural artists, the band combines traditional Mediterranean music with modern electronic sounds. Formed by passionate artists who met through their travels, Qairo explores the parallels between flamenco and classical Indian dance, Arabo-Andalusian influences, and the rich sounds of the Balkans and Turkey.
The ensemble, now based in Bordeaux, France, will release their first album in 2025.
